Three measurement features
- Measure revolutions without contact, using a beam of light that measures on reflective tape, chalk lines and the like, e.g. pulleys and flywheels
- Measure revolutions mechanically using a contact point, e.g. shaft ends and spindles
- Measure surface speed mechanically using a measuring wheel, e.g. conveyor belts and wheels
