Excellent compatibility with a range of common surfaces
- The adhesive tape is suitable for bonding to many different materials
- Damps vibrations and compensates for joining parts with different vertical expansion coefficients
High degree of initial tackiness
Sufficient application reliability is achieved as soon as it is fitted.
Extreme resistance to ageing, UV, weather, plasticisers and chemicals
- The adhesive tape can be used both indoors and outdoors.
- The carrier foam does not yellow and remains permanently elastic.
RoHS-compliant
- Please conduct preliminary tests on sensitive surfaces (e.g. PP, PE, rubber) and rough or porous surfaces (e.g. wood, stone).
- Preliminary tests must be performed to determine adhesion to painted surfaces (particularly powder-coated surfaces).
- If plastics containing plasticising additives are to be bonded, the plasticisers may change the adhesive layer. This will impair the strength of the adhesive.
- For safety mirrors (identifiable by a blue or green film on the back of the mirror), mirror manufacturers generally recommend using an additional mechanical fastening.
- For safety mirrors (identifiable by a blue or green film), there may be adhesive problems with the tape due to the interaction between the film used and the adhesive. Adhesion is particularly poor on PE/PP-based films. Preliminary tests must therefore be carried out in all cases. As a variety of different films can be used for safety mirrors, the use of an additional mechanical fastening is strongly recommended.
Please observe the installation instructions.

In case of mirror adhesion, make sure that the adhesive strips are applied only vertically and in several strips to reduce shearing and tractive forces and to distribute these forces across the entire adhesive surface. For safety mirrors (identifiable by a blue or green film), there may be adhesive problems with the tape due to the reciprocal action between the film used and the adhesive. Adhesion is particularly poor on PE/PP-based films. Preliminary testing must therefore be carried out in all cases. As a variety of different films can be used for safety mirrors, the use of additional mechanical fastenings is strongly recommended. In sanitary or outdoor areas, we recommend increasing the amount of adhesive tape applied. | |||||
The listed lengths of adhesive tape should be distributed across the four corner points. |

Can be used on different materials for mounting mirrors when assembling wardrobes and bedroom, living room and bathroom furniture, for securing window bars, attaching dispensers and brackets in bathrooms, securing hooks and small appliances indoors and outdoors. The adhesive tape is suitable for bonding on a range of different surfaces such as wood, metal, glass, stone, fabric, PVC, PC, ABS and Makrolon.
The adhesive mirror tape is inert against a wide variety of mirror coatings and is recommended by leading mirror manufacturers.
The surfaces to be bonded must be dry and free from dust, grease and silicone. We recommend IPA cleaner for pre-cleaning.
To ensure proper adhesion, the tape must be adequately pressed onto the material to be bonded.
Optimum final strength is achieved after 24 hours.
